Will the GIF look choppy when slowed?
Slowing below 0.5x can show fewer effective frames per second. We don't add interpolated frames — what's there is what plays.
Will fast playback cut frames?
No — every frame is kept, just shown for less time. Speeding up never drops frames.
What is the max file size?

Does file size change?
Yes — slowed-down GIFs get bigger because they have more total frame-time. Sped-up ones shrink slightly.
Can I do fractional speeds?

Yes — we use ffmpeg setpts which scales every frame duration consistently. Loop count is preserved.
