GIFDB Pro Terms of Service

These Pro Terms supplement the general GIFDB Terms and apply to anyone with an active or expired GIFDB Pro subscription.

1. Subscription & billing

  • Plans: Pro Monthly ($9.99/month) and Pro Annual ($99.99/year). Prices may change with 30 days' notice via email.
  • A 7-day free trial is available once per account on the Pro Monthly plan. Trials are limited to 100 credits and full Pro feature access.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Renewal is charged to the same card used at signup.
  • Billing is processed by Airwallex on our behalf. Card details are never stored on GIFDB infrastructure.

2. Credits

  • Each tool action consumes credits per a published cost table. Heavy + bulk tools cost 2-5 credits per run.
  • Credits are issued at each renewal — they do not roll over. Use them or lose them.
  • Credits cannot be sold, transferred, or converted to cash.
  • Excess credits unused on plan downgrade are forfeited.

3. Fair use

  • Pro is for individual creators and small teams. Programmatic / API-style abuse (e.g. scraping our endpoints to power a competing product) is grounds for immediate suspension.
  • We may impose a soft per-account ceiling of 10,000 ops per 24 hours regardless of credit balance, to protect site stability. Need higher? Email hello@gifdb.com.
  • Uploaded content remains yours. We process it transiently to produce the output, then delete the source within minutes. Outputs are not stored unless you choose "Publish to GIFDB".

We may terminate Pro access (with prorated refund of unused time) for:

  • Chargeback abuse
  • Use of the service to process illegal content (CSAM, copyrighted bulk re-encoding, etc.)
  • Material breach of the general Terms

6. Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Outages over 24h trigger automatic credit compensation per the Refund Policy.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email and a notice on the pricing page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
